E. W. Davis papers, 1924-1954.

The papers include a manuscript copy of a 1924 talk on the necessity to develop an industry to use Minnesota's low grade iron ore. Eventually, this led to the development of the taconite industry. Also included is an elaborate manuscript "Tribute to E. W. Davis from the Board of Directors of Reserve Mining Company" (7-7-53).
